Braid Winder/Unwinder

Crime scene management today adheres to strict standards and protocols. For the sake of quality, the technician must preserve the crime scene.

 

The first responder must secure the area and establish a security perimeter using a braided barrier to prevent access by unauthorized personnel.

Given the cost of braided barriers, which are considered consumables, police and gendarmerie forces often recover them for reuse.

However, there is no efficient system for winding the braided barriers.

Therefore, FORENSIC MATERIELS SOLUTIONS, as is often the case in forensics, has repurposed an object to create a simple and effective braid winder.

 

• Option to install a 200 or 400-meter tape
• Interchangeable and removable reel
• Reel locking cleat
• Adjustable brake Tape guide for quick and efficient rewinding
• The reel comes with a pre-mounted braid.
• Option to be supplied with a braid for the PTS (Police Technique et Scientifique – National Police, National Gendarmerie, Municipal Police, or Customs).

 

This reel is not intended for the exclusive use of the Technical and Scientific Police, but is also suitable for all personnel required to secure a location (DDE, Technical Services, firefighters, military, etc.).
