The CATCHER system combines a controlled ultraviolet (UV) reactor with the NEXOS high-resolution miniaturized spectrometer.
During analysis, the sample undergoes controlled UV exposure, generating unique variations in fluorescence, absorption, and scattering (spanning 200–750 nm over 0–300 seconds). The system then generates a spectral map a unique chemical fingerprint which is instantly compared via Artificial Intelligence against a reference database.
